外教Smith想就采用何种授课方式在同学们中间征求意见,同学们中间有两种观点,请你根据以下信息给Smith写封信告诉他同学们的建议,并谈谈自己的看法。
观点一:丢掉课本,采用"游戏授课法",优点是实用、有趣,可以吸引全体同学融入其中,有助于学生掌握日常会话技巧。
观点二:按照课本内容安排上课,优点是可以比较有计划、有步骤、有系统地学习口语知识,有利于考试。要求:语言流畅、语法正确。词数:120~150。

I’m writing to tell you about the discussion we held on how to teach oral English. The class had two different opinions on it.

Some students suggested we should teach oral English through games instead of through textbooks. For one thing, they think playing games is interesting as it gets all students’attention. Also playing games can help the students master daily conversation skills. Some students have the opposite view. They think teaching oral English according to the contents of the textbooks is more useful as we need to pass the examinations.

In my opinion, learning English in a relaxing environment is necessary. The purpose of learning English is not to attend a variety of exams, but to communicate with foreigners so we need an effective method to improve our oral English.

They insist on teaching oral English according to the contents of the textbooks, for the textbooks are designed methodically and systematically to help students pass the examination.

In my opinion, learning oral English by playing games is a good idea. It is a fact that most students don’t speak English well because they are not in a suitable environment. The real purpose of learning a language is not to attend a variety of exams but to communicate with foreigners. Only by speaking the language often can we master it.
